We believe

What we believe as a church, our mission and vision as well as our motivation.

OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT

DRIVEN BY GOD'S PURPOSE

We exist to bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christlike maturity, equip them for their ministry in the church and life ministry in the world, in order to have God’s name magnified by populating earth with heaven-bound citizens.

Our Vision

  • To fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ
  • To see the lost saved at all cost and proclaim liberty to the captives
  • To empower every believer to become a leader of leaders

Our Mission

To spread the unadulterated gospel of our Lord Jesus, totally depending on the power and leadership of Holy Spirit; in our quest to see the lost saved, the captives liberated and every believer aware of and operating in their righteous identity in Christ and capable of leading others to Christ and equipping them to do the same.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe...

  • There is only one God: God the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God; in
His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His sacrificial atoning death and victorious bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His constant intercession and in His imminent return.
  • In the person and work of the Holy Spirit with his fruits and gifts still being available and at work in us as the church today.
  • In the bible being the living, infallible, authoritative and everlasting word of God; and it being the ONLY foundation of all Christian doctrine.
  • That our redeemer Jesus Christ has accomplished ultimate victory for us by undoubtedly defeating our enemy, Satan himself.
  • In the default spiritually lost condition of all people and the undeniable need for salvation through the new birth by faith ALONE in the name and finished work of Jesus Christ ALONE.
  • In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift available to believers subsequent to the new birth, with evidence of the gifts of the Holy Spirit including but not limited to speaking in other tongues.
  • In the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper and adult baptism by full immersion in water for all believers.
  • In the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life in the presence of the Lord and the other to everlasting separation from God.
  • In the church being the body of Christ, and each member being an active part of this body (local church), fulfilling the Great Commission.
  • THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD…HE ALONE SHOULD BE AT THE CENTRE OF HIS CHURCH…HE ALONE SHOULD GET ALL THE GLORY…HE ALONE SITS ON THE THRONE OF GLORY…HE WILL COME BACK SOON! AMEN.

WHAT DETERMINES OUR PURPOSE?

A great commitment to both the Great Commandment and the Great Commission is what drives us.

The Great Commandment
(Matthew 22:37-40)

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. . . . Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

The Great Commission
(Matthew 28:19-20)

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
